Fiona & Matthew got married on the 5th November in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Braamfontein. I’ve never been in such a beautiful church before!
Their reception was held at Shepstone Gardens, which to my surprise, was only 10 minutes away. It was clear to see that they adore each other as well as their little baby boy, Dylan. Fiona wrote this about their engagement: “Matthew proposed to me in January 2010…with the words ‘will you marry me’ etched in icing on a cake! This sums up his romantic nature and his love of unconventional things…At our engagement party I made a cake for him that said ‘YES’.” I love hearing engagement stories and I must say that theirs is a pretty sweet, unique and unconventional. We started the day at the church, where Fiona arrived in a bright red Landrover!
