Roslynde & Louis

Roslynde & Louis

29 May, 2012  |  Weddings

Roslynde & Louis’ morning wedding was choc-’n-block with hand-made goodness – I loved it!

I loved every little detail, especially the wooden proteas she got made (yes they were handcrafted out of wood) for her bridesmaids’ bouquets. Their thank-you cards to their guests were little bird-shaped plantable cards, to grow a colourful selection of flowers (I’m still going to plant mine!). So cute! The Protea-centrepieces surrounded with colourful tins of succulents, topped off  the hessian (burlap) overlays. One of Roslynde’s bridesmaids were responsible for the origami-birds they had hanging from the trees. Apparently she folded over 250 birds! I also love Roslynde’s non-traditional wedding dress, which wasn’t white but a light dove grey – she looked gorgeous!

I hope you had heaps of fun on your wedding day and even more so on your honeymoon in Malawi! Thanks so much for allowing us share in your day :)

Thanks to Gena D for shooting with me.
